Located along the Roswell Riverwalk Trail, Don White Memorial Park offers scenic access to the water and a peaceful backdrop for outdoor leisure. Its two-tiered layout includes both a lush upland lawn perfect for lounging and family volleyball, and a lower riverside area designed for water access and enjoying the river’s edge.

Visitors to Don White Memorial Park enjoy a wealth of amenities tailored to both active and relaxing pursuits. The park features a canoe and kayak launch, fishing docks, sand volleyball courts, outdoor fitness equipment, picnic pavilions, restrooms, and ample parking—including roughly 75 gravel spaces plus additional lot under the bridge. Trail enthusiasts can explore the paved and gravel sections of the Riverwalk Trail, ideal for walking, running, or biking, while leisure-seekers will appreciate shaded seating areas, picnic tables, and serene riverfront views.
Don White Memorial Park is named in honor of Don White, a dedicated former mayor of Roswell who contributed significantly to the development and enhancement of the city’s recreational spaces—especially along the scenic riverfront. As part of the broader Roswell River Parks Master Plan, the park is slated for several upgrades. Recent planning includes enhancements such as a new kayak launch and dock, pavilion, terraced seating, shoreline stabilization, ADA access improvements, and reconfigured trail and drive circulation—all designed to better unify the riverfront system and enhance visitor experience. In early 2025, the Roswell City Council also approved pursuing a $4 million grant to fund these improvements through Georgia’s Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership Program, demonstrating strong municipal commitment to park enhancement.
