The Chattahoochee RiverLands is a new way for the Metro Atlanta region’s neighbors, families, and visitors to meet, travel, and explore parks and trails. Trust for Public Land, in collaboration with a committed group of organizations, laid the groundwork for this expansive vision. RiverLands was imagined by the community, for the community to support healthy, connected people and the environment.

The Chattahoochee River is a little tiny river winding its way through this massive metropolitan area, and it sustains five million people with drinking water. Citizens want to get out in nature and enjoy the river. It just takes an investment...in the future, in people and their happiness and enjoyment, as well as in the protection of an amazing resource.
