Park

overview

This new park in Cobb County has lots of signage that interprets the history of this site. It also offers access to the Chattahoochee River, near the confluence of Nickajack Creek via an unofficial trail. This park is part of the forthcoming RiverLands Showcase project, an initiative to build 2.7 miles of Chattahoochee RiverLands. A portion of the property has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has deed restrictions which allow it to be used only as a historic park with passive recreation and interpretation
