RiverLands Showcase Project

The RiverLands Showcase project is an initiative of the Trust for Public Land in partnership with Cobb County and the City of Smyrna to design, fund, construct, and program 2.7 miles of the Chattahoochee RiverLands Vision along the Chattahoochee River between I-285 and Mableton Parkway. This ambitious project will unite over 150 acres of public lands into one, seamless visitor experience. The opportunity to introduce this region to the core goals of the RiverLands through a built park, trail, boat ramp, and other amenities will build demand for the entire 100-mile vision to be completed. It is anticipated that the RiverLands Showcase will be fully built and completed by Spring 2026.
