Tiny Monsters Lurking in the Pond! An NPS Evening Program
04.18.25| 6:00PM
Join us for an enriching and educational experience as we partner with Trees Atlanta for the kickoff of our new quarterly hiking series! This seasonal hike is a unique opportunity to explore the beautiful Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area – Johnson Ferry North Unit and learn the art of tree identification, with a special focus on spring foliage and how it contrasts with other seasons.
Whether you’re a nature enthusiast or simply curious about the trees that shape our environment, this collaborative event promises to deepen your connection with the natural world. Together, we’ll discover the defining characteristics of trees in their springtime splendor and uncover the subtle changes they undergo throughout the year.
Please come prepared with weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy hiking footwear to ensure a safe and comfortable experience on the trails. To reduce our environmental impact, we encourage participants to carpool with friends or family.
Spaces are limited, so don’t miss the chance to be part of this exciting inaugural event! Get ready to embrace spring and see nature through a fresh perspective.
