Event details

Stewardship Celebration – Honoring 30 Years of REI Perimeter! Let’s hit the trail and celebrate three decades of adventure, community, and stewardship with REI Perimeter! In honor of their 30th anniversary, REI is teaming up with Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy, National Park Service and volunteers like YOU for a special Public Volunteer Service Day!

We’ll roll up our sleeves, hit the trails and clean along riverbank, and give back to the outdoor spaces that have given us so much. Whether you’re a seasoned park user or just curious to lend a hand, this is a day to connect, contribute, and celebrate.

REI is bringing the love—and the lunch! Volunteers will be provided with lunch as a thank-you for your time and energy.

Volunteer Activity:

Volunteers will be working as a group to remove debris and trash along the riverbank and trails of the Powers Island Unit.

PLEASE NOTE: This project focus did shift from trail work to a trash cleanup due to the govt shutdown because NPS personnel must be present for trail maintenance projects.
