Join the National Park Service and Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy for a cool summer walk around Island Ford to observe areas in need of trail restoration to chat about the upcoming trails plan for Island Ford. We will walk to Falling Branch to discover the amazing stream life. Make sure to grab your water shoes or closed toe sandals for a splish-splashing good time. We will conclude by walking along the edge of the river where you might see geese, ducks, a great blue heron fishing in the shallows or maybe a Midland Water Snake. Wonderful wet excitement awaits.
