WAWA Service Learning Saturday @ Hartnett Community Garden
02.14.26| 9:00AM
Join the National Park Service for twilight discovery at Sibley Pond. We will begin our adventure by looking for the amazing and wonderful creatures living in the waters of Sibley Pond. Using nets we will search for dragonfly nymphs, tadpoles, minnows, newts, and scuds! As twilight settles, we will take a safari walk around Sibley Pond looking for all of the creatures that fly, swim , or crawl. We will focus on the wonderful diversity of frogs that might be out and about. We will identify these amphibians by their appearance and by their vocalizations. Heat and humidity will determine if and how many frogs we might encounter. This is a terrific and very fun activity. Please join us.
