Event details

Leaves, Twigs, Natural Pigments & Mud—Oh My!

Join Ranger Jerry Hightower and our awesome volunteers for an evening of nature-inspired creativity and campfire fun! We’ll collect leaves, twigs, and other natural goodies to create collages, mix up some earthy paint, and even make mud art (yes, mud!).

Come early with a picnic, then stick around for a short guided walk on the Three Forks Loop Trail and some good old-fashioned marshmallow roasting by the fire (BYOM – Bring Your Own Marshmallows!).

  • Facilities: Restrooms and water available in the Lodge
  • Trail: Easy, forested path
  • Bring: Water, comfy shoes, layers for changing temps, and marshmallows if you’d like (we’ve got the sticks!)

Parking is limited—please carpool if you can!
