41st Annual Halloween Hikes @ Chattahoochee Nature Center

Chattahoochee RiverLands is proud to be a cleanup site for Sweep the Hooch – held March 23, 9am to 12pm!
Back for the 14th year, Sweep the Hooch is an annual day of service to the Chattahoochee River watershed, mobilizing volunteers on foot, in waders, or kayak/canoe paddlers to remove trash at locations throughout the watershed. Sweep the Hooch brings people together to give back to the mighty river that gives us so much. At last year’s cleanup, more than 1,500 volunteers worked together to remove a cumulative 32 tons of trash. Of that, more than 3 tons were recycled.
Advance registration is required but participation is free. Click here to register – https://chattahoochee.org/sweep-the-hooch/
And most important – this event could not happen without YOU all stepping up and leading a site. Thank you for being part of such a huge community event.

Chattahoochee RiverLands Pedestrian Trail Bridge
The City of Smyrna and Trust for Public Land are exploring a new pedestrian and bicycle bridge across the Chattahoochee River. This bridge could improve connections between existing and planned trail systems in Smyrna and Atlanta while creating new opportunities for recreation, mobility, and access to the river. Share your input on project priorities, potential uses, and how this connection could serve the community.
