10.17.26| 4:30PM
Saturday, July 18, August 15, September 12, October 17, and November 14 | 8:30AM-12PM
Roll up your sleeves and help restore critical wetland habitat. Volunteers will work alongside staff to remove invasive plant species such as English ivy and Chinese privet, helping create healthier habitat for native plants and wildlife.
Participants may be digging, cutting, pulling, hauling plant material, and building brush piles. It’s active, hands-on work that makes a meaningful difference for local ecosystems. No experience is required, and volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves.
This workday is for ages 13 and up; volunteers under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
There is a limit of 25 people per event.
Email volunteer@chattnaturecenter.org to sign up. If the date you are interested in is full, please check out the other available dates.
