Mid Chattahoochee Paddle and Camp

Chattahoochee Riverkeeper has organized this trip to have a fantastic group camping and paddling adventure on the Chattahoochee in the mid-Chatt region.

This trip is also in partnership with Heard County Outfitters and Chattahoochee Outdoors.

This entire 2-day trip will take us from McIntosh Reserve Park in Whitesburg to Riverside Park in Franklin. We will camp Friday night at McIntosh Reserve and Saturday night on private property.

We will be paddling 19 miles total and will experience very moderate flows and some spicy shoals to navigate. Skill level: experienced beginners at a minimum who know basic strokes and bracing skills.

The fee is $150 per person (tandem partners must register separately) and includes Fri/Sat night dinner, Sat/Sun breakfast, gear transfer and shuttle.

Boating equipment is not included.

For planning purposes:

If you are camping Friday, we will have camp setup by 3pm. Please do not arrive before then.
If you are not camping Friday, and arriving Saturday morning, please arrive at MCINTOSH no later than 8:00AM.

Additional details will be provided in your confirmation email. Specific trip details will be emailed to registered participants one week prior to the trip date.
