DESCRIPTION:Chattahoochee Riverkeeper is pleased to host this cleanup to celebrate the New Year and to continue our efforts toward a Trash-Free Chattahoochee on Saturday\, January 3 from 9am to 12pm. \nThe exact address will be provided to registered volunteers a week before the event\, but generally the cleanup is ITP. Why? Because rain events move the trash and we want to pick a location that needs our attention the most. Gloves and cleanup supplies provided. \nWill I get dirty and potentially wet? YES!\nWhether land based or paddling\, all our cleanups involve getting in or around the river or a tributary – this is where the trash is. But there are opportunities to stay dry. Either way\, we promise you’ll have fun! \nYOUTH PARTICIPATION: Youth between the ages of 10 (minimum age) and 16 must have a Parent/Guardian onsite under their supervision the duration of the cleanup. No drop-offs are permitted. \nThis registration is for you only (and your children if applicable).
