DESCRIPTION:Chattahoochee RiverLands Ramble April 30\, 9am-12\nWhittier Mill to Lower Paul Avenue\, and Back — about 3 miles\n\n\nThe event will explore the vision of the Chattahoochee RiverLands through a guided walk along the Chattahoochee River. \nJoin our volunteers to experience the “before” view of the Chattahoochee RiverLands greenway trail along the western boundary of the City of Atlanta\, starting at Whittier Mill Park\, just north of the Chattahoochee Brick site. We will walk from Whittier Mill Park to the River\, then along the River to the proposed Lower Paul Avenue Park and back. \nThis is an easy walk\, about three miles\, some of it along an infrequently used rail spur. Wear sturdy shoes—it may be muddy and the trail is unimproved. Bring a water bottle. Long pants and long sleeves are recommended. \nThe entire walk should take about three hours\, as we stop and talk along the way. \nTours begin at Whittier Mill Park. Limited to 30 attendees.
